Concept Design, Space Planning & Layout
The concept design and planning are one of the most crucial parts of any project. We gather all the information we’ve received from our consultation together and start creating a cohesive design. We create mood boards and develop a style with the finishes, materials and fixtures that help you envision the final product.
By the end of this stage, you’ll have a clear picture of the design. Before proceeding, we’ll also showcase several different layouts and physical samples to ensure you’re 100% happy with the arrangement.
Design Development & Documentation
In the development and documentation stage, we’ll finalise all the interior selections and prepare scaled design documentation with elevations and plans for the tendering and construction process. We will prepare the lighting and electrical plans, as well as the schedule for the fixtures, fittings, and finishes. We’ll also prepare 2D and 3D drawings of the design, plus a complete material flat lay, for you to review.
By the end of this stage, you’ll be able to engage tradespeople and a builder, and most of the items are chosen and selected so that you can get excited about the final product.
Material & Finishes Selection
The material and finishes selection work hand in hand with the design development. We gather all the materials and finishes to prepare a flat lay for your reference. We will finalise the finishes and material schedule, and all needed materials will be ordered and sourced for you.
You’ll come out of this stage with a beautiful flat lay showcasing all your materials.
Lighting & Electrical Plans
We will develop a full set of plans for each room and ensure that all lighting and fixture locations are chosen to fit your home.
Any plans we create will be easily accessible for any on-site trades, ensuring a smooth process with fewer mistakes. They will also be able to access a live schedule with all the important information about the light fittings and other items we have chosen.
Furniture Specification & Sourcing
We develop a complete design concept for your project's furniture, soft furnishings, art, and accessories. We create a detailed schedule for all these items, and you’ll be able to see your savings. We will visit suppliers where we select all furniture and accessories on your behalf and coordinate all orders for you.
We will organise all deliveries and storage for you and have them ready for installation.
Construction Pack & Management
We will coordinate and arrange purchasing items such as fixtures, fittings, finishes, lighting, and flooring. We engage relevant contractors chosen by you or from our trusted leading contacts to deliver an exceptional result.
We have regular site meetings to monitor the process and start bringing your stunning new space to life.
Furnishing & Styling
The furnishing and styling stage is where the project turns into a reality, and the fun part starts for any designer. This is when the project moves from the planning stages into a physical project.
We hand-select all the finishing touches, adding character and personality to the space. Once the build is completed and furniture and accessories have arrived, we’ll help you style the home to match your vision.

All of our projects start with an initial design consultation so you can get a feel for how we work. The Consultation with our Head Designer, Laura is the foundation of the entire project. During this 90-minute (or so) meeting, she will look at your desired project, and you can talk about a whole range of things relating to your project. This includes the scope, lifestyle, functionality, budget, aesthetic, and more that you have in mind.
Laura aims to provide you with several initial ideas and inspirations and shares a few helpful tips. You’ll gain access to all her experience and expertise, tailored to your project.
The consultation is where you can both get a better understanding of each other and asked any questions that you may have, whether it be about the process, the property, or the design.
